Ssmackley's post debate review/celebration and commentary on questions asked by men vs. women in the debates. Along with a few unabashed shout outs to Andersen Cooper...something I never thought Id do...EVER. And sorry about the wierd blips. Does anyone know export settings that will prevent this from happening?

  • hey there. I left you a comment at WIMNS voices blog earlier today, but wanted to let you know that i've watched a few more of your videos and REALLY appreciate the questions you're asking. I'm not really a YouTube user, but have been inspired to follow your posts. If you do get tips for good female vloggers, please post links for the rest of us so that we can check them out too. Thanks, and keep up the good gender & political commentary!

  • Hey! Thanks for the comments! I will absolutely post links for other women political vloggers that i find!!

  • Why does it matter who asks the questions? I would be more worried about the kind of questions asked rather than what gender the person is, asking the question

  • an observation: everyone who has made a comment like this on any of my videos has been male.

  • well if there were more men that submitted question of course there is goin to be more questions answered that men submitted then women.

  • not true at all. CNN had 3000 questions to choose from. not hard to find 20 good questions by women and 20 by men.

  • Why does gender have to matter? Would you really watch a show you find of less quality than another one just because it's hosted by a woman?

  • One thing you FAILED to mention in this video blog while you were endlessly ranting about the 'success' of the debates was the fact that only the top tier candidates got a decent amount of speaking time. And everyone got more speaking time than kucinich because he is actually a voice of change unlike the rest of these pieces of shit. The debates were and always were a dismal failure in regard to the next presidential election.

  • All the more reason not to take it seriously right? Sexist

  • for that matter why weren't there equal numbers of all the races represented in the questions? The answer is it didn't matter.

  • but why should CNN have to get a certain gender quota for their show? That's just absurd. Would it lower the believability or the validity to actually just get a statistically irrelevant sample of good questions?
