I made these and they were delicous and moist just like she said. I didn't have any nuts on hand but I did have raisins. Turned out great.

can i use baking powder instead of baking soda?

@leemagz123 Sorry, but no. The baking soda reacts with the acid in the other ingredients to make the muffins rise. To use baking soda, you'd have to create a whole different recipe. -Cindy
