Nope, this isn't gameplay just yet, sorry.

This is the introductory "story" intro, fleshing out the characters and whatnot.
I should also mention that this intro is one of the most well animated and entertaining I've seen for a game this age. 1991 folks, an ORIGIN Systems trademark is their unbelievably fantastic cinematics and Martian Dreams is in my opinion one of their best accomplishments.

Here you can already see appearances from famous historical characters such as Nikola Tesla. Martian Dreams has a ton of these.

Also, doesn't Dr. Spector seem... familiar? *nudge, nudge*

Yep folks, that's Warren Spector, one of ORIGIN's lead designers and the mastermind who went on to work on and head projects such as Ultima VII, System Shock, Deus Ex, Thief and Crusader: No Remorse.

A bit off topic here : but I consider Warren Spector to be one of the most underrated game developers in the industry, I really wish people would mention his name along with Will Wright's as the greatest minds in the gaming industry, instead of say - that hack Peter Molyneux who hasn't made a single good game in 10 years because he's nothing without the Bullfrog team that led him to his current position.
