Nice! Your charger sounds meaner than mine, what headers are you running here? I'm currently considering a Hughes cam for my 451 stroker... I was less than impressed by the current Racer Brown people, he was realy just guessing and trying to get me to make a purchase right then, not good sales tactics. I was thinking about a Comp xe275HL but I will be runnin KB251 Hypers at 10:1 and the Hughes cam keeps the cylinder pressure down to 281psi (more anti detonation friendly)

i cant say that i have ever driven for 5 hours straight before with it. i did however drive for 3 hours straight this monday, then 3 hours back home. i drove up with windows down and home with them up. it was a nice comfortable ride both ways. my cruise rpm at 60 is 3000 rpm, 50 is 2500. i have 4.30 gears on 28 inch tall tires. the only drone is from 1400-1600 and i never cruise at that rpm as the engine is still skipping off the cam that low. full length headers with 3 inch pipe straight out.

Now that sounds nice on camera, but how is it after driving for 5 hours? I'm seriously thinking about taking the 50suv's off and going magnaflow... My last drive gave me a roaring headache that lasted 2 days. I'm starting to wonder if my HP cast manafolds and rectangular exhaust tips have something to do with the wild reverberating thrum I get at crusing speed and part throttle, I'll reserve the right to go magnaflow until after I put on the headers and take off the tips and go for turn downs.

it had 2 inch full exhaust on it when i bought it running through no name mufflers. it purred liek a little kitten...lol but its the first time it had had full pipes in almost 10 years and i am loving it!
That sounds perfect! I'm a little surprised though... no 5" piping? lol. Sounds great man!

So what cam did you go with? I've had a Comp 238 that I didn't like much and currently I'm running an Edelbrock :
Duration at 0.006" Lift: Intake: 300° Exhaust: 308°
Duration at 0.050" Lift: Intake: 238° Exhaust: 246°
Lift at Cam: Intake: 0.320" Exhaust: 0.330"
Lift at Valve: Intake: 0.480" Exhaust: 0.495"
Timing at 0.050" lift: Open Close
Intake: 14° BTDC 44° ABDC
Exhaust: 58° BBDC 8° ATDC
Centerlines: Lobe Separation - 110° Intake Centerline - 105°

i run an old school racer brown cam. i dont have the card handy for all the specs but ithe duration is 240 @ .050 and .510 lift with 1.5 rockers. i did not advance it on install, it is set at the factory marks. i have never been impressed with edlebrock cams, they seem to be more oriented to chevy's. why didnt you like the comp?
