University of Tennessee Volunteers (Vols) QB Erik Ainge was drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th round, 27th pick, 162nd overall.

Over time, Ainge could develop into a steady quarterback for the NFL because of his intangibles.

  • why would you hate Erik Ainge? over 3500 yards passing his SR year 31 TDw/ just 10 picks. Better stats than Matt Ryan and he and played in the SEC. Only other QB to put up those kind of numbers at TN was Peyton Manning.

  • Anyone else notice at 1:30, that pass is Jonathan Crompton, not Erik Ainge? Looking forward to him in '08.

    Go Vols!

  • Ainge was a talented player, should have started for jets... Hes better than Mark Sanchez by a mile.

  • @jmgggg88 because he's been on just about every drug possible

  • @quarf53206 nice i am a freshman at Glencoe

  • @racoon218 Ainge wore 8 as a freshman :)

  • I went to high school with him. he was one of the few players on the football team at Glencoe that i actually liked

  • why the hell did they have a Crompton TD pass in this?

  • Casey is 2nd... but only because Ainge had a rough 2nd year... Casey never threw for 3000+ and 30+ TDs in a season...

  • NEVER FORGET CASEY CLAUSON! 2nd all time in most of the vols stats! Go Vols!

  • this guy went to my school!

  • Erik Ainge was a bad dude lets just leave it at that. But there is a problem with this Video, at 1:30 til 1:40 thats not Ainge, its Crompton.
