The song reflects the vibe and spirit of Christmas, while making tribute references to popular Christmas song "titles", as the lyrics and background instruments unfold.
Ed Myers performs and records on Yamaha, Korg and Roland keyboards and synthesizers.
An additional, lengthened trumpet solo; with various improv throughout the song by Michael Lenke, was added.
Check it out, beginning at about the (4:17 time mark), 2nd track only on this audio, which plays the entire musical track "extended". No lead vocals on this 2nd track.
The trumpet colors the song throughout, sprinkling little melody pieces of other well known Christmas classics.

Thank you Percy Faith and his Orchestra for your infamous 6 note string line from the
"THEME FROM A SUMMER PLACE", played near the end of this song.

(at 8:43 2nd track time mark).
A tribute to you dear Sir.
I have also paid tribute to the
Beach Boys and Brian Wilson; in the "bridges" of THIS song, inspired by the chord changes used, in their early recording of "THE SURFER MOON", recorded on Capital Records. The opening background "oohs" on my song here, are slightly crafted to the "closing oohs" of "SURFER MOON". The pizzicato strings, played during my 1st musical bridge, are another idea from Brian's use of them on his intro of the Beach Boys "The Surfer Moon".
Thanks Brian, for 5 DECADES of inspiration and the music of THE BEACH BOYS.
