i came on here to see what all the fuss is about i saw a little of the Plumber Baby sketch on a TV countdown of the 100 scariest moments in TV and Film.....and i'm absolutely disgusted! I love a bit of dark humour. I tell jokes that make people cringe. nothing PC about me at all...but this?....comedy that is just plain spooky is not comedy.

@AlephNeil Plus also the lengths that ordinary people will go to, and the depths to which they will descend, when money is the motivating factor.
-
I'm pretty sure this first sketch is about people who cling on to life & will not let go of loved one who are in coma's. Cheers,
Peace*

@AlephNeil Also, how easy it is to convince someone to try something by offering them absurd amounts of money.

Thick, desperate posh people ftw :)
The baby plumber sketch is one of the high points of Jam - one of the places where beneath the 'dark humour' lies something profound.
The fragility of life and the tenacity of the human spirit which will cling onto it even at the cost of descending into madness.
I don't know - I worry that that sounds stupidly pretentious. But, as with many other Jam sketches, I have a feeling that it means more than just "ooh look how grotesque this is".

This is why plumbers shouldn't be doctors. (I'm looking at YOU, "Dr." Mario.)
