@itchymoche Clearification: malware that gets on your computer can come from ANYTHING...music, games, videos, streaming videos, browsing to a page (Drive by download). Then when its there it opens up ports on your computer and downloads the payload. The payload is the actual virus...this can populate across a network or just con you into buying to "remove" the crap on your computer (scareware). You will never be "safe" from a viruses only clean

@bobbyjava No but i do know the architecture of the OS and how a virus/malware attacks it. New things everyday makes it impossible to know EVERYTHING....and yes still a dick (^-^)v
-
@Blackllama13 Well I use that knowledge to put Lulsec/Anon in a court room. Thanks (^-^)v

@Jorgy oh wow so fantastic. In case you haven't noticed, he's much older then you, younger people are much better with computers. He didn't go to college. What you've used your knowledge for? Wasting the money of schools. Oh you also cracked WPA/WPA2? What's that good for? stealing.

Simple, hacking is one thing, malware is another. Malicious Software is just code / data that is corrupted, or intended to corrupt other code, to spread itself. Usually people that write malware aren't hackers, they are mostly "skiddies", or scripters.
Hackers are people that manipulate code, hardware, and think outside of the box to come up with things not intended for what it's being used on.
Not every hacker writes viruses, or hates computers, that's only the ones with bad intentions. :)
Prt4:
Please do not get me wrong. I am not condoning the writing and spreading of malicious viruses, worms, and/or Trojans. I am merely attempting to give you insight as to why it is sometimes done along with a little history.

That helps me to see it a bit clearer. And then, perhaps it's not always a virus per say that messes up my hard drive. Maybe it's a compilation of programs that eventually over ride each other? like any machine, I always want it to run smoothly, and when it gets gummed up, I get pissed!
Thanks for the insight Kat.
