Mass Effect 2 - Regaining Miranda's Loyalty

I loaded one of my old saves and tempered a bit with it in Gibbed Save Editor to find out what score you need to regain Miranda's loyalty if you lost it during the Jack-Miranda fight. It seems the paragon-renegade ratio is not of importance here. What you need is full Paragan OR Renegade points. In my case that was 1165 as lowest number to unlock the option for both paragon or renegade (both in the video) So even if one bar appears to be full, 1164 does not unlock the needed dialogue option. In this playthrough I managed to get Miranda through the suicide mission successfully without having her loyal. I recommend checking the Mass Effect Wiki for the Morality Guide that shows you how many points you can get where.

do you need the paragon level to be all the way or 50%?

@powerbeam08 either bar must be full and I mean full. Even though it may look full, Paragon or Renegade may still not be maxed out. See description above.

There is an excellent thread on the Bioware forums that explains how the system works. It is not the percent, but rather the ratio of points you have compared to the points that are possible at the time you encounter the confrontation. For example if you go to Tuchanka and just buy something you "open" up all the points on the scoreboard for Grunt and Mordin's loyality missions.

Thanks! I guess I better start working on those paragon points quick. I have a tiny bit of renegade points but I think im half way through on the chart....Problem is I only have Tali left to recruit, do her loyalty mission, and do legions loyalty mission. I do not know if it will be enough to get all the points, then I have to deal with Tali and Legions fight later....I dont even want to think about that!
