@Stariehx average reaction time is about a half second. then take into account most people dont want to get caught shooting someone so theyll be paranoid and not completely focused on you. that drops their reaction time to atleast a full second if not more. Now count one missisippi in your head v.s. how long it takes to swing your arm across your body. one second is plenty of time to redirect the weapon before he fires

at that distance (1º scene) you will NEVER move faster than finger of shooter.... this is a great tip, but only if you are closer

This is really risky. Most times ppl robbing are full of adrenaline and nervous, they may shoot you if you do any fast movement. So, beware.

What happens when you redirect the gun and your hand is on the slide and he fires anyway, the slide of the gun will recoil and tear your hand apart.

NAHH as soon as you start to make a massive motion like that he'll flinch and within seconds shoot you down.

Not buying it.

1) Talk to destract as you move tiny bit closer

2) Use a 'shaolin monk' like attack where by you dive your upper body as far down to the ground as possible whilst moving forward at speed.

3) Sweep up with arm knocking aiming hand toward th sky

4) Punch to the nose - and with the whole motion and speed behind this you'll most probably knock him unconscious.

I think you have to recognize that there are times when someone is just going to kill you, and you have nothing to lose by fighting. Sure, the guy might just pull the trigger and kill you - but you're already in trouble.

Krav maga is a highly effective fighting technique. It works. That's why the Israeli army uses it.
