I don't have much first hand experience with this stuff but could the discharge of air noise after the rev be enough to warrant a BOV being a good modification?

BOV is not a modification its just for show and looks theres no performance increase these cars already have recirculation valves

actually, BOVs arent just for show n looks n sound etc. they actually do hav a purpose. they help prevent compressor surges and reduce wear of the engine.

yea they do but i already have recirculation valves upgrading to BOVs will not make a difference

@Z32spdstr this might be coming a bit late to you, but i noticed you seem (or DID seem, if you've since learned) a bit misinformed.

There are non-turbo and twin-turbo versions of BOTH the 2-seater and the 2+2. I think what you meant before was that the 2+2 only came in non-turbo? There's heaps of 2+2 TTs in Japan, and they sold well here in Australia too. For some reason the American market didn't get them *shrugs*.

I'm looking around for a 2+2 twin-turbo right now :P love the 300zx to bits!

@0453567 and "upgrading" to aftermarket BOV's with these cars usually cause more problems than anything. Nissan did it right with the stock recirc's from the factory.
