These guys are incredibly stupid. CRT monitors contain hazardous materials: large quantities of lead, phosphorous, cadmium, barium, and mercury.

Crushing and burning of the CRT will cause the hazardous materials to be released. These toxic materials will easily be absorbed through your lungs, mouth, eyes, and skin. When the CRT is burned, the toxin-bearing particles become an airborne hazard.

The guys in this video will likely develop respiratory, pneumonitis, and neuropsychiatric problems.
