Abilene High's Pure Gold Show 2006: For Once in My Life

Pure Gold opens up the second half of their show with the Stevie Wonder hit "For Once in My Life".

Pure Gold is a vocal ensemble group directed by Teri Godfrey consisting of six men and women who can sing and dance with equal skill. Once a year on May 1st at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Abilene, Texas, they put on a show that is free admission (so long as you've gotten a ticket from a member or gotten one from the choir director).

As a side note, this is a school that was shown in the movie "Friday Night Lights". Remember the team that beat Odessa Permian 46-6 in the movie? Yes, not only do the Eagles have an awesome football team year in and year out, the choir department is strong as well.
