U.S. pushes for "Merchant of Death" extradition

The trial location for Viktor Bout, the Russian dubbed the 'Merchant of Death', is still up in the air, with suggestions that the U.S. has sent an official to Thailand to push for his extradition. Bout is being held in Thailand where he's accused of supplying military equipment to terrorists.

Bout has been simply made an example. or some sort of leverage. funny that 6 months later US seems like not much in hurry to produce enough evidences to charge him. or perhaps they are concerned that he'll say something too inconvenient? ;)

What is it a crime to sell arms internationally as a small business person while the major corporations have been pumping weapons though their developed nation governments to the developing nations.
