Oh ok. We have a Golden Retriever...I don't think a bowl like that would work for her, she'd swallow bowl and all. :) Her name is Scout, after the little girl in the book and movie TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. :)  I'm from West Virginia, so hello from across the US :)

@scurry2012 I love her name as I love that book! They have a big dog bowl version but it's only Colossus that has the fast eating issue. Our two big dogs just have a stainless steel bowl. They take their time eating. LOL Our biggest sometimes likes when people are around for him to start eating. Sometimes I'll read a book while he's eating.

Was wondering about the doggie's food dish...weird I know...but is there a purpose to the little divisions in it? Don't know what you'd call them :)

@scurry2012 Good question. Colossus is a quick eater. He eats everything so quickly that it's not good for his digestion. These special bowls slow him down. :) They are called Slow Feeder Bowls. I bought mine from PetSmart and it's the Martha Stewart line.

Oh I can't wait for some more of your cooking videos! I always love to try your recipes because they are so wonderful! You had posted the website you got the scalloped potatoes from (I haven't tried that yet) But I did make this on the weekend and its to die for! Beef-Stew-with-Potatoes-and-Ca­rrots I did do some tweaks to it though - i left all the veggies in and made in the slow cooker!
