  • I hope you peoples aren't comparing Motley Crue to KISS, because KISS is a way more legendary band than Motley Crue.

  • Ace over Mick any day!!

  • @bowlinggod702 no, gene simmons did not produce van halen's first album, he did some demos with them and bought dave some pants and tried to lure eddie v. halen into kiss. gene didn't discover them or motley crue , although what actually constitutes discovering a band is up for debate.

  • Where the hell's the actual song?

  • @iamthegreatkhali

Motley Crue was the opening act for KISS for one of their tours. And, yes, KISS discovered them as well as many bands. Gene discovered Van Halen and produced their first album. There are many bands that owe KISS a great deal of gratitude

  • @Tonybasskicker2 I WAS there and I was going absolutely nuts when they brought everybody out, especially Ace. It's one of my all-time favorite moments from going to concerts.

  • ACE FREHLEY and MICK MARS are fuckin' awesome, that's it,If I had to choose,I'd leave it on a tie

  • Um......Did Crue borrow Kiss's stage or something~

  • Kiss is great...Motley is great too...

  • @louielovett In The Dirt, Nikki said he met Mick in a liquor store and Mick asked Nikki what bands he liked, Nikki said he like "Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Sweet and Kiss". Mick said that Kiss sucked and he hated Kiss, Nikki got mad and threaten to kick Mick's ass. I know Nikki, Tommy and Vince are influnced by Kiss but Mick really hated Kiss though.

  • Both bands are great in my book. Ace and Mick are great guitarist and both should be given respect like they deserve. Kiss and Motley will live on forever
