The only appropriate attitude to have toward the study of climate and the environment is humility, open-mindedness, and a requirement of disconnecting science and policy — not the hubris, fear-mongering, and self-righteous maligning that is the hallmark of the AGW advocacy (and religions in general).
re: your reference, the fact that CO2 is a greenhouse gas does not in any way prove the AGW theory nor that it is a crisis. Ironically, even Al Gore recently admitted this "evidence" is tenuous and there are more significant greenhouse gases than CO2.
There has never been a more media-hyped,politically motivated, pseudo-science, propaganda campaign than AGW.
