The more I listen to this version the more I suspect I favor it. :) It's got a sad feel to it. It hasn't been released in any FF album I think, but you can find it in Rikki's solo album "Kanaria"

This is in some sense better than the FFX's fully-arranged original. The piano sounds absolutely beautiful to me. This is supposed to be a sentimental song. Although the title is "isn't it beautiful", beauty can come in multiple ways, including the way of sadness and sorrow.

I'm not sure if it's just me but the piano in this version kind of creeps me out. Because it just doesn't sound right. It sounds not sad, but makes you feel miserable. This version sounds rather weird for a song which says "Isn't it Beautiful".
Don't get me wrong, it's good. But I can't shake this feeling of "something is not right with this version".

I like this version better than the FF version because it's more sad. FF version is nice too but it is kind of dramatic. This version, I feel it has more feeling to it.
