I watched Silent Hill. It was not scary at all. Here's why: I've been watching Repo! The Genetic Opera every other day for 3 weeks, and when I haven't been watching it, I've been listening to the OST. I'm getting ready to shadowcast it. So when I saw all the "scary" scenes in Silent Hill, I imagined them all singing. The cop shooting down the vomit creature... singing. The cop and the mother trapped in the vent room, hiding from the pyramid head, guy... all three singing.
Then this scene came on: when the mother descends the elevator to find the demon's room, or something. She's running through the dark halls with her light, and she runs into a mob of nightmarishly dead nurses. All I could think of was, "Genterns... ooooh, Genterns! OHH! GENTERNS!!!" and "Genterns, let's secure the final skin graft (and stat!) Scalpel (scalpel) Needle (needle) THREAD!"
And it was difficult to hold in the laughter.
There should be a music video of the nurses dancing to that song xD

I can't look at the game "Dead Space" the same way either for the same reason.
