vario ec135 fenestron problem

we found that the vario fenestron was just not up to job when used in conjuction with a turbine, the weight and torque caused the tail blades to stall and was putting too much back wash causing the bell crank to flex under load, DArrens has come up with an excellent mod to the tail problem and made some new bits, his now works fine...

When you built the tail gear box did you make sure the gears are meshed properly? the gears sounds like they are off center in the tail, did you use the chime to center the gears? I have the same heli and that could be the problem. happy flying.

make sure your gyro is calibrated properly as well as the speed of the blades. And take a look at your servo linkage to make sure its movements and self centering are ok. check the net for more.
