I want to join the 100 Carat club! Check out this site to learn more about the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas! Check out the Uhaul.com/supergraphics. They have developed a beautiful graphic and a great write-up on this State Park.
Alot of the naturally ocurring diamonds are hidden out of reach behind the yellow signs that say mine boundry. Rules created by park officials STOP people from finding diamonds, so they buy them off ebay, take them to the park. mix it into a small amount of dirt then scratch thru the dirt until they find the diamond. If you would spend some time at the mine you could see this for yourself. Everyone else is seeing it.
I have found way over 100 problems with your comment. How is it a scam if its a natural, diamond producing, eroded lamproite volcanic pipe? How is tourism bad for Arkansas? Ahhh my head hurts.
I have found way over 100 carats of diamonds, but i'm not a member of the 100 carat club. I'm not willing to promote the CRATER OF DIAMONDS SCAM. In 2009 the crater ripped-off 130,000 unsuspecting tourist. Bad for Arkansas.

We were just there on New years Eve day 2009
unfortunately it was mucky and cloudy. We have
to go back it was cool. If you go first look at the book on the history of the mine. It will give you
a lot of info before going into the field.
$7. for adults $4./ kids 12 to 6 under 6 free. Can't beat that. People are really friendly. We stayed in the Shamrock Motel. Great time.
