Virtual Worlds - Getting Started (Second Life Machinima)

We often get so caught up in the technology and potential of Virtual Worlds that we forget that, for those who have not experienced one, it can be a completely baffling experience.

This video attempts to introduce the basics of a virtual world: the concept of your avatar, moving around virtual spaces and places and simply talking with others. No technology overload, No 'and you can do this and this and this'. Hopefully, just something my Gran could understand!

The machinima does this while showcasing some of the beautiful Second Life locations created by www.get-real-solutions.co.uk - a virtual worlds consultancy, based in the UK and specialising in Second Life training and builds.
