Larry Hanley, International President, ATU speaks about the work family challenges facing America's transit workers at a landmark event that brought together new leaders from the American labor movement to share "Strategies for a Family-Friendly Economy".

The event was hosted by the Labor Project for Working Families in partnership with the Georgetown University Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor in Washington DC on February 25, 2011. Other speakers included Service Employees International Union (SEIU) President Mary Kay Henry, Association of Flight Attendants (AFA-CWA) President Veda Shook, and AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Liz Shuler.
