This music style is (BRAZILIAN) "bossa Nova"... You can easily improve, just about any song/music, by playing it in this style. If you are a bad singer, just sing in this style; your singing will improve greatly; the sensuality and relaxing intonation is almost hypnotic. (Chris Montez, Julio Iglesias -and many more- used this basic idea).

No way the sax player is Gato Barbieri. The sax player was an englishman: Ronnie Scott most likely.

Ms. Springfield recorded two versions of, "The Look of Love": the first with Burt Bacharach (for the soundtrack to the first version of, "Casino Royale") in London and then, not satisfied with that version she recorded another version. That second version is the version that was released in 1967 and made it to #22 in the US. I don't think Gato Barbieri would have played the sax solo, it was probably an English session musician, on this, the first version or on the second version.

この曲もよく聴いてました。If you go awayとともにDustyの歌うものの中では好きな曲です。もともとハスキーボイスは好きなのですが、Julie Londonとはまた違うんですよね。ポスティングありがとうございました。この曲とIf you go awayはいつか歌ってみたいものです :)

ジュリーロンドンと確実に違う点はダスティの歌い方に洗練された黒っぽさが感じられるところでしょうか。
