And this is a perfect example of why JOHNETTE is my all-time favorite performer, vocalist
-
WOW! this is the second vid from this performance. The other 'everybody knows' also is a killer. What is this from and where is the rest? This should be in a DVD - just remarkable.

She's amazing. I can't say anything more than that.
-
thanks for posting this vid. good stuff
-
Johnette is awesome
-
question not is if i would fall at her feet but whether i'd rise again
-
this is from 120 min on mtv.these were the only songs she sang that night
-
Would my life be less without Concrete Blonde? It would be a lot less.
-
if i had the money, i would fly trough the ocean and drive across the desert until i find her, this woman has got a heavens gift and she is kind enough to share her soul and emotions trough her amazing voice. If i was an alien and my mission was to capture a talented and beautiful example of human being to colonize a new planet, no doubt i would abduct Johnette together with her dogs, poetry, arts and the black guitar.

Love this ... always have and always will! Thank you for posting her singing this live ... adds to an already stellar song. The ending and her expressions ... Muah!

wow. powerful rendition. beats the studio version by a country mile.
-
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!
-
First off, Johnette totally rocks no matter what she is singing. :) Secondly, this is a great performance of a song that is good on the CD but is awesome performed live.
-
Johnette is a Brilliant writter & singer!
Just Great!!!
-
i like heavy metal! but no one touches my heart and makes me cry more than JOHNETTE. her voice is ....amazing. amazing. amazing. her 'everything' is in every word.
-
Both were from 120 minutes and if i remember correctly, they were supposed to play electric but paul had problems getting into the country and was tied up in customs, so they were without drums. A blessing, considering these two wonderful performances. Johnette has one of the most powerful, original voices and she takes chances in her live performances, vocal gymnastics that no current singer would dare attempt. Real passion and commitment. Gives a fella chills.

i remember seeing both songs performed. can't remember what show- i do remember johnette saying that they were sans drummer because paul was held up in customs and couldn't get into the country. next time i saw them, they had harry drumming. thank you for posting this. i almost started to believe i imagined this performance. one would be hard pressed to match the passion in this woman's voice. this was an excellent band to see live, as johnette gave so much. Thank you again for the post.

Uh, don't remember. I think there's a version of "Everybody Knows" from the same performance on youtube. You could try asking there. :)
