I think Smith should be traded to Vancouver. He would fit right in. But he needs to work on the glove toss and hands holding face move.

Shaw deserved a penalty on the play. The suspension was ridiculous. Shanahan trying to make up for his Weber fine debacle. Smith should have also been assessed a two minutes for unsportsmanlike for the embellishment afterward. He should have also been removed from the ice to the 'quiet room' as per NHL concussion guidelines. He was not injured on the play, but the Coyotes played it up in the media until after the suspension was handed down.
