Gita in moto da Milano fino al meraviglioso Passo dello Stelvio.
Un paradiso per i motociclisti e non solo.
48 tornanti sul lato del Trentino e 36 su quello lombardo.
Arrivati in cima, all'improvviso udiamo un boato a cielo aperto: un signore tedesco - alla guida di una vecchia e bellissima Triumph - fonde il motore: come niente fosse scende e, dopo aver tentato inutilmente di riparare il danno, chiama la moglie (che se ne sbatteva altamente i coglioni) per una foto ricordo.
Mitico.
Motorcycle trip from Milan to the Stelvio Pass (Stilfser Joch in german).
It's a 4 hours drive, about 180 miles (one way only).
If you are about to plan a trip with your bike, well ... motorcycle heaven is just there.
48 hairpin turns on the northern ramp and 36 on the southern: simply Top Gear's world's best driving road.
Even though is a challenging road, it's worth every effort: breathtaking views, especially on a bright sunny day.
At the end you can see an old convertible (I guess it's an old Triumph) which broke its engine.
The gentleman, a german from Munich, took it very easy: he first tried to fix the problem and later called his wife for a family picture LMAO.
Main theme is "Rain Man" (Hans Zimmer) while the other song is Elton John's "Rocket Man" ... buy the cd if you like them.
