@MadPics - If you are SMC Knolls, you may want to point out that this summary for this video is wrong. The VLS is not being shot from the Shiloh, the Shiloh is where you were standing. I know I was onboard the Shiloh when the video was taken.
@GlenMalted - Yes it was the Mobile Bay.
@All The person was passing in front of the WTD that was there. It is storage. He would have been coming from father forward along the Starboard side as tremayneward76 said.

There is a WTD a little further forward on the starboard side of the Aegis class cruisers. It comes from officers country as well as a ladder that comes up from the deck below.

I was on CG-61 and it looks like this guy was coming from the starboard side of the ship. Best guest is he either came through the hatch by officer country or he came from all the way down the starboard side from the front of the ship. Anyways he obviously wasn't paying attention, but I'm sure those alarms scared the ish out of him before the missile came out of the VLS.

1. There are no hatches leading from machinery room spaces directly to the aft VLS (main) deck. The sailor in the video is coming from the aft main deck hatch. BTW - snipes dont get to see daylight during GQ.
2. @hotirisbabe - are you sure this is CG-53, Mobile Bay?
