first of all, all i'm saying is that operation ivy were musical genius's. help'd revolutionize punk music. if you'd read their lyrics, youd understand that. it's not supposed to sound like clean, perfect studio recordings. their music had a message. its fucking ska/punk!! crazy bass lines, rough vocals, and thats the way it should be. not some pussy emo/whateverthefuck HU is.
