but dont they say if you heat whey powder, you change the molecules of it and its nor really whey anymore so less protein? :o

I made these 2 days ago for my boyfriend and me (he is bulking up, I am slimming down. It is great that they are good for both of us! Usually I have to watch him eat what I bake :)
They turned out delicious but more like bread than fluffy muffin (we used one whole egg and 100ml liquid egg whites).
They have already gone so I made a new batch today and followed the advice to add some applesauce (homemade in my case) to add moisture!
They are incredible!!! Thank you so much!

Unsweetened applesauce is also a good egg substitute if you're worried about losing moisture. 1/4 cup for each egg to be replaced. And I'll definitely have to try this recipe. I always find that the oddest/grossest looking foods often taste the best. Cheers!

A high protein muffin perfect for men who builds their muscle in the gym. Interesting recipe.

Lee you should have added a stick of butter or a 1/2 cup of oil for moisture! lol...jk

Oat is now find out too much iron, be careful

If you can't get oat bran, just use the same amount of oatmeal instead. Just put it in the blender to make it finer ground similar to oat bran.

im curious, whats into sugar free maple syrup? maple syrup is usually 100% pure sugar (simple high gi carb from maple, not as in actual white refined sugar)

@StoutNerd
The actual ingredients will vary depending on the brand, but most have artificial sweeteners in them.

whats the nutritional info?

@TheRealWm
According to the Metabolic Cooking Program there is 20 grams of protein, 22 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of fat. But that's going to vary depending on the size of the muffins you make. But it has a well balanced ratio of protein and carbs with low fat.
