Anders Romance - What if I Don't Want a Normal Life? - Dragon Age 2

At least, that was what my character, Grace Hawke, thought upon walking out of that scene.

While I initially did not like the changes to Anders' character, I think it is growing on me. Even if the whole I-cannot-love-you-but-I-do plot line is a a bit overused, I'm quite interested how this will develop.

Wanted to say I LOVE that you chose "Grace," as the name for your Hawke. And that you then went on to love and protect Anders and take up his cause. It's very poetic. "Grace" was what he needed (having long been hated and ostracized as a mage, and worse, an apostate; then even more so after becoming host to Justice, and no longer having a solid grasp on concepts like mercy, forgiveness, and grace), and grace was what you gave him.

@MarielHawke Thanks. Actually, I decided on that name on a whim. I kept thinking about Grace Kelly (I did not pattern her after Grace Kelly though) as I was using the character creator. Anyway, as for 'poetic justice,' it only made sense to me in the middle of the playthrough. For someone like Anders, it is hard to have both Justice and Grace, except in Christianity where I believe the concept is: justice is appeased through grace. Sadly, this is not the case with Anders

@shepardcousland I think it's kind of ironic you named her Grace, since that's the name of the apostate that will later HOLD ANDERS HOSTAGE in Act III.

@FrigidAxe Since 'Grace' is the Hawke I used on my first playthrough, I didn't really know about that other 'Grace' until I encountered her. Oh well. In my playthough, it was Bethany who was kidnapped.

Edward is a whiny little bitch, Anders/Vengeance is a bad ass bitch who has an attitude. he's grown up. Harry Potter had the same attitude towards his friends, And he's not edward. Can you blame Anders for acting this way? I think not.

Okay this twilight crap is geting really annoying, Anders is nothing like Edward, Edward is a whiny little pussy who just happens to sparkle like a fucking disco-ball when he walks out into the sun. Anders has a god damn reason to whine, he risks execution for the crime of simply beeing alive for fucks sake! I would be pretty pissed to. The whole "demon that takes over when I lose control" has been done before but it would be better compared to stuff like werewolves and Naruto

NO WAY!!!! My characters name is GRACE TOO! But that's because my name is Grace IRL. And when I saw their was a Grace in the game, I thought it was a glitch, and it was my name maybe hovering over her, well, i don't remember where name icon was, but yeah. haha that's my story!
