Brian Strachan (6'2" / 195 lbs) attends Saint Sebastian's High School in Needham, Massachussetts. He has been starting at quarterback since the end of freshman year, and is considered one of the best dual-threat quarterback prospects in the northeastern United States. During his junior season (8 games), Brian had 1,252 yards passing and 11 passing touchdowns, while also rushing for 785 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was timed a 4.62 in the 40-yard dash, as well as an elite-level 4.18 in the pro-shuffle. Brian was named First-Team All-League in 2009, as well as Captain-elect for the 2010 season. While Brian is an incredible prospect at quarterback, his coach believes he has the natural athletic ability to excel in a variety of positions in Division I football. He is a relentlessly hard worker, and driven to be successful as an NCAA Division I football player, as well as attain a four-year bachelor's degree. Brian is the nephew of former Boston College and Oakland Raider's fullback, Steve Strachan.
