Paul's Apartment --- Bombay Cat

Here is Paul, my three year old black cat getting into his secret little hideaway. This was the cupboard above the fridge. I used to refer to this as his "apartment". I let him stay there because the space above the fridge is too hard to reach for anything important. Paul did this all the time and would sometimes stay in there for hours on end. When I'd come home from work, I could hear the cupboard door slam and by the time I got to the kitchen, Paul would be waiting for me sitting on top of the fridge! Tragically, Paul was struck and killed by a passing motorist on May 26, 2010. He was laid to rest beneath a large Ponderosa pine tree in the backyard not more than twenty feet from where I found him but it's also about twenty feet from where he was born. Paul was too cute, too smart and too cool! I loved him very much and he's greatly missed! Paul Gums (August 25, 2007 - May 26, 2010) With love eternal, Todd.

Am sorry to hear that...on Sat. April 3, 2010 i lost my Sonny...a bombay ... just lying at the door ... lookin' as if he were tryin' to get out...
