  • old one was better

  • There's no historical value in the away jersey now, so we might as well have a proper away jersey. Gold jumper with a maroon Lion would be nice!

  • Why did they change. We had a great jumper that was both tradition and represented lions old and new... Bring it back!!!!

  • Alana Smith !

  • How about just a maroon and blue away strip with the FFC on it?

  • this new jumper looks fucking terrible. why are clubs going with all these cartoony logos now? the traditional club logos always look the best.

  • @thegreig all good mate. There is still so much i don't know lol. I just remember the merger from the today show. Strange what you can remember as an 8 year old.

  • @zanky81 yeah thanks. i wasn't aware of that at the time, my bad

  • Back in 89 there was merger talk between footscray and fitzroy. That is what uraniumdeath had meant.

  • I work at the Gabba. We all hate the logo and have to pretend to fans who bring it up with us that we 'lurveeeeeeeeeeeeeee' it.

  • "menacing" ?! HAHA.. i'm a paid member of the Lions and i HATE our new logo/jumper. It's a laughing-stock.. "Paddlepop Lions" what a joke
