I remember listening to Dave Amram one summer's night in Davis Park, F.I. and I still remember it to this day! A more gracious person and fab musician you will never meet. Hey that other guy blowin" da horn ain't bad either:)

i am still grateful every day that i was blessed to meet Dizzy in 1951 , when i was a 20 year old hayseed, and be able to play with him over the years.

He inspired everyone who ever knew him, played with him or listened to him.

His music and spirit continues to light up the world and always will!!

Wow... wow! Recently met Amram in NY; him and Ray mantilla (the latin jazz living legend) were talking about the good old days. David is very down to earth, what a gentleman. A real musician/virtuoso. Go David, you are the best!!!!!!
