Google Announces Data Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa

(KCCI 8 Des Moines) Iowa Governor Chet Culver and Google Inc. announced plans for the company to open a data center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, at a press conference on June 19, 2007. Google Inc. is investing $600 million and will eventually create 200 jobs at the facility powering the company's services. For more information, visit www.google.com/councilbluffs.

A lot of people when we say Iowa they say rednecks but Iowa is one of the best places,(no not for you big city ganging), but it is one of the best places to raise a family, why raise one in big cities where you can get killed or get kids into drugs, really hard to now get anyone into that, so thanks Google. we welcome you.

Iowa does look like its ten years behind because it is. The now dead and buried E commerce revolution didn't hit us because were not that gullible, and you wont find Starbucks culture here because it's a laughing stock. Do try to remember that the rest of the country is compared to us academically for very simple reasons-
