The ovals you had are ram punched it its not super sharp the edges bind -try - tumble dryer to mix the stacks about till they break or take an airgun to the edge stacks or make a rubber flap wheel to seperate the sheets like a photocopier does in the feed tray but mounted on a drill to spin the rubber wheel.
Nice to see the cannon got enough lift anyway - you may want to put one front n back for the O2 - just wheel into position just before use, no risks in middle of audience if you want 2

That lift and spread is about normal for that type of machine - you have the correct liquid take off co2 . Operator did probably cause the clumping although the material type did not help. The inherant problem is that no matter what you do to confetti, the physics of air resistance kick in - the confetti has no mass to overcome air resistance, it can leave the machine at 100mph it will still get to 8m and drop to the ground, unless you provide a column of air to lift it higher - Colin (Glasgow)

cheers for the info Colin.
do you know a quick way for separating paper confetti? basically before we used it on saturday we tried to separate the clumps that were pressed together so that it would fire better, we did it by hand but it took ages!
is there anything we can do to save time - our next event is at a big venue so we need to use loads of confetti, i think it will take hours to do it by hand!!!!
