Angola-On its way to...Part 1-Portuguese only-

Two months before its launch, the 15th of November 2006, a huge part of the Angolan population still is not aware what the voter registration is for. This fact became obvious during the interviews which the 11 young journalists of the NGO Omunga conducted in the province of Benguela. The interviews were part of the activities during the "Journalism and Video reporting techniques"course, overviewed by the German Brazilian documentary producers Minibus Media in partnership with Omunga.
For more than two months the group interviewed citizens, members of the political parties, of the government and the civil societies. The interviews were conducted within the provinces of Benguela and Luanda. The result is this documentary "Angola on its way to the voter registration". The young team also collaborated with rappers of the "Movimento de Rua" with whom they co-produced the soundtrack of the documentary "Vamos nos registrar-Let's all register".
Avoiding complicated language, the objective of the film is that it is to be used as a tool for civic education. This is the reason why, the film has also been translated from the Portuguese into the three national languages Umbundo, Kimbundo and Tchokwe.
In 18 minutes the audience has the opportunity to clear their doubts about the voter registration and reflect upon the democratisation process of their country.
Produced by Angolans for Angolans "Angola on its way to the voter registration" is an invitation to exercise democracy. "Let's all register."

@josemanuel26E verdade! Mas não nos esqueçamos, que não é português brasileiro, nem de Portugal! É português africano, é a pronúncia e são vocábulos africanos! Se ouvir falar o francês e o inglês na África subsaariana irá descobrir que também são pronunciadas com um sotaque parecido, se não até igual! Pode-se, no caso de Angola, até falar de angolano ou português angolano! Julgo que o português do Brasil até teve muita influência fonética do linguajar africano! Por isso parecem "mais próximos"

Angola ainda tem que melhorar muito. Eu estava em 2008 na segunda eleicao do pais, e na minha opinion foi mas uma corrupcao do governo que teve muito eleitores mas mesmo assim o MPLA ganhou mas uma vez. Eu nao tinha votado neste dia porque eu achei um disreipeito do governo, porque ate hoje ainda nao coseguirao tirar esse Presidente do poder. Eu tambem e hora dos Angolanos comecaram agir e querer democracia no pais, principalmente os jovens.
