Interview: IDEAS China

Eugene Nho-Creator of IDEAS

Eugene is a rising junior at Stanford University. Recently he started a non profit organization at Stanford focusing on mobilizing students to solve environmental problems. This organization, called IDEAS (International Development through Environmental Accountability and Sustainability), aims to spread the practice and idea of sustainability throughout countries where environmental awareness and sustainability-sensitive practices are still at early stages (i.e. non-E.U., non-U.S. countries) by connecting students at U.S. college campuses with students in those countries. Each participating U.S. University will work with one international university, helping students in that community to initiate projects that students can do make their communities care more about sustainability and the environment.
