  • Well Mao didn't really behaved like a gentleman during the occupation of Tibet.

I would say before we chinese people accuse others for having feudal system and so on, we should first clean up our past by ourself.

It's called accomplishment of the past.

The problem is we do not, our government CP makes it impossible for us. The germans did accomplish shortly after the nazzi regime. But many of us do not and also many russians do not. What can we lose if we start with that? Nothing

  • Congratulations to YouTube (and Google) for standing up to the revolting IOC and not removing this video.

when himalayan american foundation and Richard gare sends tons of US dollar, those monk n theses young tibetan get nothin but beaten by nepalese police. But tibetan leaders get luxurious house and car.. that u must have notice in nepal wake up..!!

  • If they get Jackie Chan and Jet Li to speak out against their country for tibet than it would leave a powerful message for the people of China ; )

  • Tibet lost its chance to be independent around the 1910s; the British didn't support the cause, and the Tibetan clergy feared modernization would ruin the religious atmosphere. When Mao came up in the 1950s, Tibet had no choice but to be "re-integrated" (this was actually the first time Tibet was really controlled by the Chinese)

  • Bertrand Russell, mathematician and philosopher and a Nobel prize laureate in literature:

    - What is true of Christianity is equally true of Buddhism. The Buddha was amiable and enlightened; on his deathbed he laughed at his disciples for supposing that he was immortal. But the Buddhist priesthood - as it exists, for example, in Tibet - has been obscurantist, tyrannous, and cruel in the highest degree.

    - Bertrand Russell, "Has Religion Made Useful Contributions to Civilization" (1930)

  • You are mis educated. You are reading post Mao Chinese "history" that longs to unite the region under phony pretenses. Tibet is for tibetans.

This video is rad. Keep up the good work. tibet is now a global movement thanks to idiots who try to oppress these people.

Karma: it always catches up to you!
