lol, thanks for the story! ;) same thing happens to me when someone attempts to talk to me in Spanish then I respond to them in Awesome English!!! then they are like... Oh... afterwards I feel like they hate me! ^^

When I stayed in Japan, I always found it stupid when people came right at me expecting me to speak english. Like if "of course he does, he's a foreigner, right?". Does that make me american / british / canadian or whatsoever?

Then I did the same thing, I replied in Japanese. After all unlike to sonny, they wouldn't even really help me out with English since neither Japanese nor English are my native language. But then again, all they're trying is to have a little chat with a foreigner.
