My unit has actually been banned from using our PMAGs. God forbid I use something other than the government issued shit. Figure that one out

I wonder if SureFire's 'High Capacity' magazines will have the same reliability with this kind of test.

everyones bitching about the SAW jamming from mags,
there were times Id go out with 15 mags, cause we had no linked.
in 6-7,000 rds that I did fire, I had less jams than I could count on my left hand.

Everyone is bitching because the M249 SAW has been noted by the military itself to run poorly when using the mag fed option.
My time with a USMC M249 and owning the one above fresh from the FN factory has only confirmed the military view of this.
The PMags provide a greater level of reliability in the M249 as noted by the US Army Training facility at Fort Polk.

Best mags are the H&K STANAG mags , used em in iraq and afghan never had problem , practically indestructable

HK steel Mags have been removed from the US Mil supply system due to operational problems in the field.
