  • What are you talking about, they're pronunciation is fantastic. Notice the clear word endings. It's just the recording that has poor audio.

  • Well I'm English, their pronunciation sounds fine. You're right about pronounciantion though, it's a horrible word.

  • Vowel sounds are pretty hellish! 'Set' instead of 'Sat' etc. Also conductor is so laid back, he's pretty much horizontal!! Sang this on Sunday with NYCoS and this recording barely sounds like the same piece of music - it has little energy, paricularly with the guys part at the beginning.

  • @ashuduanna

Let us agree to disagree :)

Regardless, the Monteverdi Choir gave an excellent performance.

  • @halfallias No, actually their diction is terrible. But let's cut them some slack. Singing in English is extremely difficult, even (and especially) for native speakers. It's a great piece of difficult music and they have some excellent gestures.

  • It's alright about pronounciantion but it's very slow especially in parts that should be faster. The tuning is perfect because after all they are German!

    thanks for posting!

  • Thanx Monteverdichor for uploading this piece of luck and purety !

    LOVE IT !!!
