3D HTML Visualization and Exploration Tool

An interactive visualization tool I developed, back in 1999. The idea was to render the DOM structure of the HTML code of webpages as 3D artifacts, and to allow simultaneous interaction in both the 2D webpage as well the 3D visualization. Changes by user interaction (e.g. scale, drag and drop, delete, copy and paste) in one representation would result in according changes in the other representation, and vice versa.

Would a beautifully modelled object in 3D correspond to a beautiful webpage?
