This studio pipes based on the smallpipes by Alexander Anistratov in his workshop, Moscow, Russia. So its sound is really close to smallpipes sound in spite of plastic reeds. All pipes made of ebonite. The material sounds like blackwood (not like a delrine). It`s good for beginners and can be played as separate instrument. It goes with two drones: bass/bariton, bass/tenor. You can tune it different ways as it shown in this short clip or play it mute like a practice goose.
