Cracker performing Yalla Yalla while on tour in Iraq. This is at a little JSS base called Istiqlaal. Notice there are no amplifiers. We used a PA and Pods . We used this super stripped down system so that everything could fit into a Blackhawk helicopter and we could fly out to these small bases where they normally wouldn't have entertainment.
Thanks for posting this. It's refreshing to see some art about these experiences without the bullshit Toby Keith Walmart patriotism.

Very cool! Seen Johnny with CVB enough times to expect that I'd see Greg with Cracker at some point, tell you what, after seeing all of ya doing "Low" at Life's Too Short for XRT before the Vic I think - pretty sure because that was Cracker/CVB and Victor was playing bass - getting Greg in as a regular member of Cracker along with Johnny would make you one ass-kicking Skynyrd (or, on a contemporary note, DBT) killer. Thanks for replying David & see you in January!!! Mark aka Chippy Hick

David, thank you for three decades of great music. You've really made my life more worth living. And, everyone, don't be afraid of nuance. There is precious little of it in the world today: everyone wants to make everything so black-and-white. Cracker and Camper have done a brilliant job of being anti-war and pro-soldier, and that makes them even greater in my eyes.

finally let's talk about bullying.
you asked a question, you got an answer you didn't like. i didn't go looking for you for an argument. you came here.
you know what a straw man argument is? it's where you falsely attribute beliefs or statements to someone else so that you can then make them appear wrong ignorant or dangerous.
ie suggesting that i thought 9/11 and the death of iraqis during sanctions was a nuance. classic bullying. like making the kid a "fag" or a "perv" before you beat him

websters:
sanctimonious |ˌsa ng (k)təˈmōnēəs|
adjective derogatory
making a show of being morally superior to other people.
you had to really dig through that 5:54 video to find the one sentence to which you could take offense. And then posting a loaded and hostile question here? well that would be "making a show of being morally superior to other people". sorry dude. i didn't invent the word.
