  • its training for UK's strongest man where one of the events is tomas inch dumbbell and you have to press it with one hand

    it is for strongman retard

  • i could do a set of 10 reps with the 60's seated dumbell press and i do, for shoulder strength in workouts all the time

but this is an "event" for a strongman comp and it does not matter one bit how you press it as long as you get it over head its more about balance than anything else

you probably tried it and snapped your skinny arm off thats why you have not replyed

    you prob

  • @KyzerGB so a standing 1 arm press isnt functional strength but sitting on a chair pressing is?

  • Nice, i just tried these for the first time (started on 30kg then did 35) definitely enjoyed it so im including it in my workout from now on.

On a side note broke a pb on the bench today at 125kg. I know its not huge but i was out of the gym for over 8 months but started again in January and have never felt better (endorphins rule!!), i set a pb a year ago so im well chuffed do be progressing again.

Nice lifting again and thanks for the vid.

  • Impressive, but that is actually a PUSH press, using leg drive.

  • You are one strong mother fucker lol

  • that was scary. was this a preview for a horror movie?

  • This is an excellent exercise to include in your pressing routine. Especially, when you clean the weight to the shoulder or even snatch it perfectly to a lock out position each lift. It takes practice, ballance and more practice. I decided to include this exercise when i watched a video of Jesse Marunde pressing 120 x120. If he was doing it then they must be good!!!

  • @unclerockuca lmfao, hero

  • keep it up big man

  • @KyzerGB accurly smart ass it will help him gain power i should no i started over doing 40s over ehd at age of 15 now im up to a 140 overhead barbell press for 5.. and 60kg kettle bell press

  • very impressive, i can only bench press 60kg
