"House 227" is a documentary that follows the Yestermorrow Design/ Build School as it embarks on it's first fully accredited undergraduate semester program. The Yestermorrow Design/ Build School teaches over 150 hands-on workshops a year in design, construction, woodworking, and architectural craft and offers a variety of courses concentrating in sustainable design. Semester program students are designing and building a sustainable 227 square foot tiny house on a trailer which will later be sold to suitable candidates. This documentary follows the students and instructors as they design and build the tiny house.

I have lived on a friends back porch for twelve years...i think you've built a palace! It's not about the square footage, making something livable is in how the space you have is used. As a showpiece it's very good, but i hope you let someone live in it when your done showing it off...i hate to think of it sitting on a backlot somewhere unused.
