Fred Hampton, the leader for the Chicago Chapter of the Black Panther Party, was killed at 21 by the FBI's COINTEL-PRO and the Chicago Police Department on December 4, 1969. Hampton and fellow Panther Mark Clark were murdered in an early-morning raid of Panther headquarters.
