Solar is both safe and clean.
This video is an example of George Bush flip flopping, once the political tide becomes insurmountable. Remeber his statement "who drives a hybrid vehicle?" He also opposed the national do not call list before signing it when it became clear congress was going to overrride any veto of it.

because there are better options then nuclear...and tell me what is a safe nuclear power plant huh? there is( safe) as in it wont explode easily . and then there is safe and clean (as in) it most likly wont melt down but we have to store deadly radioactive material long after were dead Why dont we just learn to detoxify the waste instead then the nuclear issue wouldnt really be an issue anymore

Yeah maybe so, but don't forget Clinton/Gore did NOTHING, NADA, ZIP in their 8 years to promote energy independence either. Clinton/Gore even FOUGHT new clean, safe nuclear plants from being built. Bush has made it easy to license new nuclear power plants.
